I couldn’t agree more, Christina. I have been wondering the same myself. I thought that maybe my followers are slow to climb cos I’m writing mostly poetry but editors should have a lot more followers than they currently have. I have also noticed some exceptionally talented writers, who have their work regularly curated, being obscure on medium even when they’re writing for big publications. Who knows how the algo works...
